Pastor Gwendolyn Good accepted the call in April 1972. God said that "He was preparing a people that He would bring to her," and He did. Pastor Good graduated from James Hillhouse High School in New Haven, CT and OSI School of Business. She was employed at Union Trust Bank until God led her to attend Miracle Valley Bible College. After attending Miracle Valley Bible College in Miracle Valley, Arizona, Pastor Good served under Pastor Leo Wine at Faith Temple Tabernacle, in Ashland, Oregon, serving as Foreign Missions Secretary and working alongside her husband while he served as Youth Pastor.
Gwendolyn married John A. Good in December 1972. They were ordained in ministry under Pastor Leo Wine in 1973. Following the ministry that God had called them to, they began pastoring together in May 1975. She labored as Church Administrator and since 2000, as Administrator for the Young Hearts Day Care Center, an outreach of the church. In addition, she has accompanied her husband on several trips to Haiti and Brazil in foreign missions work. The scripture that has directed her life is Matthew 6:33, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God..."
Since returning to Connecticut, Pastor Good has attended Gateway Community College, Southern New England Regional Bible School and is currently attending Southern New England School of the Bible in order to further her studies for the ministry. In 2007 she received The Honorary Degree of Bachelor of Theology from The Seventh-day (Sabbath) Adventist Theological Seminary. Pastor Good's love and desire for the fullness of God is the motivator for her this present day.
Pastor Good's husband went home to be with the Lord in April 2006. Since then, Pastor Good has continued to pastor and carry forth the vision for Bible Gospel Center in Hamden, Connecticut. God has graced her with two wonderful married children and three grandchildren.
